I met Karen and Gio at the Ivy Creek park this past Monday for some photos for Karen for mother's day (great gift idea, by the way!). When I asked Gio if he liked getting his picture taken, he said that he didn't mind it, but he didn't like it either. Half way through our session, he ran up to me, gave me a hug and told me, "This is more fun than playing Wii! I could do this for 18 hours!!!" I have to say, that's the best feedback I've ever gotten from a subject. Anyway, we had TONS of fun, and I think the pictures show it!
Happy Mother's Day, Karen! Your little one is pretty awesome!

Baby Charlotte's Newborn Session
Charlotte's parents have been good friends of our for quite some time. We met them in church the day that we got back from our honeymoon, and they'd gotten married two weeks before we did. Immediately we decided to be "couple" friends. SO, when little baby Charlotte was born and Rachel and Nate asked me to do some newborn photos of her, I was thrilled!!! I'm sure you'll find her every bit as adorable as I do:)
Leslie and Sean Engagement Photos
I met Leslie and Sean a couple of weekends on the UVA campus for some engagement photos. Sean is in law school at The University, so he has a connection to the space, and Leslie is a local English teacher (which made for great conversation, as I am also an English teacher). Here are some of my favorites!

Katie and Will's Wedding - Part 2
I forgot to tell you in my last post about Katie and Will's wedding, but we had a great engagement session at the Monticello trail last fall. You can check that out here.
In my last post, I got us to the chapel on the girls side of the morning, but now we need to get the guys to the chapel. Take time to gasp at the men on the Rotunda. Being a wahoo myself, I'm a little embarrassed for allowing THE University to be defamed in such a way...but it's still a great picture!
If you want to see more photos than what I've got on the blog, make sure to become a facebook fan. I'll have about 60 photos of Katie and Will's Wedding up within the week!
