Erin and Matt had a beautiful water side ceremony at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club. Erin's father preformed the ceremony, and Matt's two handsome sons add some major cute points to the bridal party. Enjoy!

Leslie and Sean 9.06.2010

During Leslie and Sean's wedding ceremony, the pastor shared a funny yet poignant story that I believe truly reflects the way that Leslie and Sean will approach their new lives together. The pastor spoke of the first time that his daughter had asked him to braid her hair, a moment he'd been frightened of since discovering that his wife was expecting a girl. Based on what the pastor had seen, he hoped that a braid just meant twisting to groups of hair together and adding in more after each twist. After finishing (but before letting go), he was quite proud of himself - that is, until his daughter wanted to have a look and he dropped the end of the braid. As any girl knows, the "braid" fell completely out! What the pastor didn't know at the time was that a strong braid requires three strands.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says that "a cord of three strands is not easily broken." This verse is often quoted during wedding ceremonies, representing the fact that a marriage built in the strength of two people can weaken, but when God is added to the equation, you get an unbreakable bond. Leslie's choice to carry her Bible instead of the typical bouquet of flowers symbolized that invitation for God to participate in her new life with Sean, and it was a beautiful joining.
